HORSE PARADE
A small, independent catalogue of audio plugins with character.
The idea
Horse Parade builds beautiful AUv3 effects for macOS and iOS. The focus is character — DSP that behaves the way a real instrument does: imperfect, responsive, alive. Each product does one thing and does it well.
The products are tailored for performance and quality, with an emphasis on tactile visual identity and user experience. The catalogue is small by design.
Current focus is Dahlia, a stereo tape delay with analog-modelled wow, flutter, and tape head frequency response.
Who
Horse Parade is built by Timothy J. Barraclough, an independent developer based in New Zealand. The original Dahlia Delay shipped in 2015 under Flora Creative; Dahlia Tape Delay is its third iteration, rewritten from scratch for modern macOS and iOS, and the first release under the Horse Parade name.
